Description
Some songs just hit you like a lightning bolt. Not because you’ve heard them a hundred times, but because something in them clicks. Feeling Good was one of those songs for me. I first picked up this musical souvenir when I saw Michael Bublé on YouTube, who opened his legendary concert at Madison Square Garden with it. Immediately, it sparked something inside me. The amazing big band, his charisma. It all felt like music standing tall and proud, and most of all, it made me feel good.
With my version, I wanted to take that same spirit and give it a fresh spin. Brighter. Swingier. Like throwing open the windows on a sunny morning and saying, bring it on, world.
Everything you hear is real. A live big band, world-class musicians, no smoke and mirrors. Just craftsmanship, pure joy, and a whole lot of heart.
This version sets the tone for the entire album: honoring the greats who came before, but doing so with a young spirit and a voice of my own. A new-generation crooner claiming his space. And even though this arrangement is bold and unmistakably mine, we made sure to tip our hat to the original.
